H*Art Housewarming Program

As a way to donate to H*Art Gallery TN a program has begun that will put original art done by local homeless artists into the homes of new homeowners through organizations like Habitat for Humanity and the Homeless Coalition. The goal is twofold: to bring original art to those that may not otherwise have access to it and to increase sales so the artists receive a more steady income. How the program works: Donors: Those wishing to donate can make a tax-deductible financial contribution toward a general fund set aside for this purpose. Or someone can purchase a specific piece of art directly from the gallery and donate it to the program. Recipients: The newly housed person (if able) may come to the gallery and chose a piece to their liking from those pieces already purchased for the program or pick from what is available at the time of his/her visit. If the person cannot come to the gallery, a piece will be chosen for him/her and brought to the new home.
